Will old cracks come back through the new asphalt?

Reflective cracking is the main risk. We reduce it by full-depth patching failed areas, sealing working cracks, and — on badly cracked lots — milling first or using a stress-absorbing interlayer.

How soon can traffic return?

Passenger traffic in 24 hours, heavy trucks after 48-72 hours. Striping goes down once the mat has cured, typically 3-7 days later.
